The mysterious Fulcrum, a rebellion against the Empire, a nefarious evil Inquisitor, plucky droid Chopper, 31 million viewers in the U.S since its October debut – the Ghost crew from Star Wars Rebels has had a busy year.
And they’re not slowing down.
Our friends at StarWars.com just announced that the Rebels will head to Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim this April, and they’re bringing the premiere of Star Wars Rebels season two with them.
Fans attending Celebration VII will have the chance to check out the global debut of season two’s first episode, and hear from Dave Filoni (executive producer, supervising director), Freddie Prinze, Jr. (voice of Kanan), Vanessa Marshall (voice of Hera), Tiya Sircar (voice of Sabine), Steve Blum (voice of Zeb), Taylor Gray (voice of Ezra), plus other special guests as they take part in a panel discussion on the series.
Plan to line up the day before to get in on this, you guys. Those who have attended Star Wars Celebrations past know how it is. (Yes, I’ve attended. And slept in line. Outside. In the rain.)
Star Wars Rebels will be back on Disney XD on January 5 (9:00 p.m. ET/PT) with all-new episodes. Until then, watch the entire series from the very beginning in a Star Wars Rebels Reloaded Marathon airing this weekend: Saturday, 12/13 (11:20am-4:00pm ET/PT) on Disney Channel, Saturday, 12/13 (4:00pm-8:30pm ET/PT) on Disney XD, and Sunday, 12/14 (12:00pm-4:30pm ET/PT) on Disney XD.
